The GothamBaby.com parents’ network is a group of 450+ New York City families. The network is dedicated to supporting parents, exchanging information about the daily exigencies of life in New York City and vicinity, and providing a way for people to connect and find playgroups. Our goal is to create a an open and down-to-earth venue, and to facilitate people connecting with each other. Both mothers and fathers are welcome to join. Parents use the network to set up playgroups, ask parenting questions, share experiences, and find out about neighborhood resources. Expectant/pregnant and new moms and dads are of course welcome.

Our Nanny of 1.5 years is available for full or part time work immediately. My husband is staying home with the kids, so we unfortunately do not need Renata anymore. She has been a member of our family for the last 1.5 years and we will miss her dearly. She has taken care of our three handfuls wonderfully (ages 6.5 (boy), 5 (boy) and 2.5 (girl)). For the past four and a half years we have been blessed with a sweet, dependable loving babysitter who has truly become a member of our family. Our wonderful nanny Camilla is available to work in manhattan immediately. She was only with us temporarily while our regular nanny was away on a family emergency, but has great references from previous jobs as well. I bought a car seat on line. I thought it was convertible but it is just a regular car seat. It costs to much to send it back to the company so I am selling it for less than I bought it. It has never been out of the box. I took one look and knew that I could not use it for what I needed. it is a carseat that recommended to me bny the car seat lady--the guru of car seats. It is the Graco Comfort Sport. It both rear facing and switched to forward facing so it works for 5-40 pounds. I will sell it for $65 and I bought it for $80.
