NYC Attachment Parenting International (API) is a kid-friendly parent group that provides support,information and networking for local families interested in learning more about or practicing attachment-style parenting. Free, kid friendly, monthly meetings are held twice monthly at downtown locations. Please see the calendar on our Yahoo Group Site for meeting details. Meetings feature timely parenting and child development topics in the context of building strong and healthy emotional bonds between parents and kids, strengthening families, and building awareness of the importance of secure attachment. API NYC has a members-only website that features a message board, chat room, tips, recommendations from members and calendar of weekly ‘AP friendly’ activities and playgroups at locations around the city.
