The Diller-Quaile School of Music is a community music school comprised of the Early Childhood, Instrumental/Vocal, Adult, Teacher Training, and Outreach Departments. Throughout the academic year, Rug Concerts, Explorations Concerts, master classes, student recitals, and faculty concerts take place. Diller-Quaile annually enrolls 1,200 students of all ages. The Early Childhood Department introduces small groups of children—ranging in age from infants through seven years—to the joys of music making and visual art. These classes facilitate the musical growth of every child through listening, singing, movement, playing instruments, and eventually through reading and notating music.

Rhinelander Children's Center is part of The Children's Aid Society, and offers classes, a nursery school, after school programs, summer camps, and a Saturday Program for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens.
