Hip, arty, professional moms-to-be downtown: where are you?

I guess I'd like to start or join some king of group or make contact with some "hipster moms"...I am a professional artist/designer, having my first soon, and don't have any close friends who are pregnant/expecting and would love to make a connection with some those who are....prefer if you are in the downtown area (I live in Tribeca) and can discuss "onesies"/bugaboos, the strokes or alexander McQueen with equal enthusiasm/scorn;) email me at avventura(at)earthlink.net

west village baby boy on the way looking for buddies

hey there - i'm new to gotham baby, and i'm having a hard time figuring out the date when your message was posted, so i don't know if this is totally outdated, etc... but we also live downtown - far west village - we're progressive professionals with our first little one on the way in about 4-5 weeks... would love to connect with other parents in the area... has your son arrived yet? stacy
