Playgroup welcoming a dad on UES, UWS, Harlem?

I'm a new member, stay-at-home dad with a 12 month old daughter. We are a family with two daddies and I am feeling kinda isolated since all the postings I see online seem to refer to moms looking for moms. I'd love to join or form a group open to folks like me. We live in East Harlem near 116th and can get to upper east or west sides easily by train. I'm a good cook, good friend and have a big apt. -- perfect for guests to play. I would love to meet some new friends as I've just left full-time work after 15 yrs. Ruthie (daughter) is a delight. Very sociable and active. Loves music.

Welcome Dad

I am a new member; and I just read your posting. I was wondering if you found a playgroup or not. My son Sammy is almost 16 months and he loves music and the playground too. We are looking to join or start a playgroup on the UWS. So far either I meet only Nannies or moms whose schedule does not work with mine.
