Family Court Drama

I am in the process of navigating Family Court for Child Support. I am emotionally stressed because the system is set up where you cannot accomplish two things on one day. As a result, I am losing pay to attend to this stuff (not my choice word, but you understand). Any suggestions? Support?

I am also having some family court drama myself. I totally understand how awful it can be. It's stressful enough to be a single parent, but then to have to deal with the stress of going to court, spending all day there, making no progress, and losing a day of work it can really be too much sometimes. When I was with my ex, we lived in CT, so now I have to travel from NY to CT to go to court also. And once you get there you just get shuffled from room to room, you never know which judge you're going to get, and it's a total waste of a day.
