How to create your own listing on the website If you are a goody or service provider, you can CREATE your own listing and then UPDATE that information if it changes. (Authenticated users can also post comments about your listing. See Babyfingers class for example of a comment.) YOUR NEW LISTING WILL ALSO APPEAR ON THE FRONT PAGE. Do you already see your goody or service listed? To gain control of the content, follow the steps below and create a new listing. Once your new listing has been reviewed, the old listing will be replaced by your new one. Here's how to create a new listing: 1. Register (click "create new account" in log-in box). 2. Log in. 3. Click "create goods/services listing" (the link will appear in the "Do you provide service/goodies?" sidebox when you're logged in). 4. Fill in the form. Note that only the first 400 characters appear in the listing, with the rest of the text appearing only when the user clicks "read more" at the bottom of the listing. Your listing will be published after it has been reviewed. If there's no appropriate category for your listing in the drop-down menu (say you're a restaurant, but there's no "restaurant" category), a category will be created in the review process. Once your listing appears on the website, you will be able to change the information you entered any time you like. Just log in and click on your listing. You'll see an edit tab.
