Who is GothamBaby?
The website and email loop were set up in 2005 by a new mom. Like so many new moms in NYC, she didn't know any parents here, so she started going to new moms' lunches and baby classes, hoping to meet some friendly people. Pretty soon she had a long email list and a weekly park date with a big group of new acquaintances. She set up the email loop to put everyone in touch with each other, and the group quickly grew.
